The Russian Choir

The 2008 - 2009 Season

Rehearsals for the choir’s fifth season began in September. The repertoire continues to expand with the addition of new music by Rachmaninov, Kalinnikov, Golovanov, Gretchaninov and Glinka.

So far the Russian choir has appeared in the following:

• Short Concert performance for Russian visiors to a trade delegation, under the auspices of East Renfrewshire Council (19 September).
• Singing Workshop (City Hall, Saturday 4 October).
• Recital in Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow (19 October)
• Concert in Coats Memorial Church, Paisley as part of the Paisley Choral Festival (2 November)
